Anthropic Chooses Nasdaq: Anthropic has selected the Nasdaq stock exchange to conduct its potential initial public offering.
According to Business Insider, citing a source familiar with the plans of the U.S. company that developed the chatbot “Claude.”
Anthropic is nearing a decision to select Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs to play leading roles in the upcoming listing.
Morgan Stanley is considered the front-runner to lead the offering as the lead underwriter, while Goldman Sachs is expected to act as the stabilizer during the initial trading.
According to reports, Morgan Stanley has been discussing the company’s valuation with potential investors in recent weeks.
However, the allocation of roles has not yet been finalized.
The company is expected to file its IPO documents within days, paving the way for one of the largest anticipated offerings on Wall Street.
Some investors expect Anthropic’s valuation to reach approximately $2 trillion, which would make its IPO the largest in history.
J.P. Morgan, Citigroup, and Barclays are also likely to play prominent roles in the deal.
Anthropic has posted strong growth, with its annualized revenue rising from $47 billion in May to $65 billion in July.
However, it fell short of expectations of exceeding $80 billion, amid intensifying competition with OpenAI.
